Kewo Engineering provided Utility Coordination and Electrical Engineering design services for the LAWA Utilities and LAMP Enabling Projects (LULEP) from December 2017 through December 2020.
This project paved the way for two large contracts in large contracts in the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP): $2.1B Automated People Mover (APM) and $1.3B CONRAC facility projects.
Kewo Engineering was responsible for coordinating with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) personnel and developing electrical engineering design drawings for various tasks. These include:
- Design and coordination for relocating underground structures.
- Design and coordination for relocating existing high-voltage electrical circuits.
- Assist with mitigating schedule uncertainty and risks to the APM and LAMP projects.
- Assist with obtaining approvals and permits from various agencies.
