Kewo Engineering - Aerial3D Engine setup
==========================================

The Aerial3D Model page (kewocorp.com) is the front end. This small program does the
processing on your own PC, so your photos never leave your computer.

1. Double-click "Install Aerial3D.bat".
   - Uses Python 3.10+ if you have it (installs Python 3.12 for you if not).
   - Installs numpy, scipy, pillow, laspy, lazrs and pyproj into its own environment.
   - Downloads COLMAP and OpenMVS from their official GitHub releases (about 150 MB;
     the faster CUDA build of COLMAP if the PC has an NVIDIA graphics card).
   - Everything goes into %LOCALAPPDATA%\Aerial3D. No administrator rights needed.
2. Start "Aerial3D Engine" from the desktop shortcut. It opens the page.
   Leave its window open while you process photos; closing it stops processing.
3. If Chrome asks whether the site may access other apps and devices on your network,
   choose Allow. That is how the page reaches the engine on this PC.

Needs Windows 10/11 64-bit; 16 GB memory recommended (32 GB for more than ~300 photos).

If setup stops, it says why, and a log is saved in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Aerial3D\setup-log.txt.
Running setup again is safe; it skips what is already installed.

Uninstall: delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\Aerial3D, the desktop shortcut, and if you like
%USERPROFILE%\Aerial3D (your processed jobs).
