Kewo Engineering provided electrical engineering services for the Metrolink SCRRA Los Angeles Union Station (LAUS) – Train Control System Construction Project. The scope of work included:

• Project Management and administration.
• Civil and electrical engineering for foundation design and modifications based on markups
• Issuance of IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings
• RWP (Roadway Worker Protection) training for personnel
• Crew and equipment mobilization
• Concrete breakout, excavation, and soil compaction
• Excavation per plan for concrete foundation, including removal of concrete, gravel, topsoil, and organics
• Disposal of gravel, soil, and concrete
• Soil bottom leveling and compaction
• Installation of blockout forms
• Installation and leveling of foundation perimeter forms
• Installation of anchors and enclosure securing
• Setting enclosures on foundations and anchoring per plans
• Concrete scanning to verify rebar location
• Anchor plates provided by the manufacturer
