Kewo Engineering provided consulting services to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) to help the LADWP be compliant with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) critical infrastructure protection (CIP) requirements.
Kewo Engineering researched NERC’s CIP v5 and v6 requirements and provided the LADWP with design guidelines to ensure LADWP meets or exceeds current and future NERC CIP regulatory requirements and standards in LADWP AC substations, including Receiving Stations (RS), Switching Stations (SS), and Distributing Stations (DS).
Kewo Engineering provided consulting to LADWP forNERC CIP requirements and interpretations of Bulk Electric System (BES) Cyber Assets (BCA), Physical Security Perimeters (PSP), Electronic Security Perimeters (ESP), routable connectivity, and non-routable connectivity as they apply to LADWP’s existing infrastructure and equipment at various facilities.
