Overview

The main objective of this project is to demolish and remove the existing series capacitors and associated equipment at both the McCullough Switching Station (MSS) and Victorville Switching Station (VSS), and to design, engineer, procure, construct, install, test and commission the new series capacitors, associated equipment and a new 500kV substation at both the MSS and  VSS. Training, preventative maintenance, and support services is also to be provided for the series capacitors and associated equipment.  

Kewo Engineering Corporation provide electrical engineering design services in relation to the design engineering of the new series capacitors and associated equipment. Brian Kewo is the Lead Engineer for this project and Kewo Engineering serves as Engineer of Record.
